In the States we have a "Do Not Call" registry. It's a telephone number to call to ask that your name and phone number be taking off solicitation lists. Perhaps the UK has something similar?

If not, I'd speak to the manager and request that they take you off their call list.

Then if all else fails, do what Jerry Seinfeld did: when they call, say "This is not a good time. Give me your home number and I'll call you later. Oh, you don't want to be called at home? Well now you know how I feel!" I've actually done this, and it feels great just saying it!

try the following
1 they have the wrong number u r a funeral home and its not required
2 report it a nuisance calls to your cable company.
3 request your details are deleted from their database.
4 threaten legal action if they continue to call

I use the first one and it seems to always work for me

ask them to remove your details from their list and tell them that it is an offence under the data protection act for them not to remove your details if you have requested it. You can also put it in writing to them then you have more to go on if they persist.
Alternatively speak in a foreign language when they call and they will soon stop calling !! Works with most sales calls........

In the UK we have the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and if your phone is with BT I suggest signing up for BT Privacy, it works!

Be rude to them down the phone (VERY rude) and they will put your number on a blacklist and not phone you again!

Yes. Just put the phone down each time they call, they will soon give up.
If you are really fed up with them just leave the phone on the side and leave the caller to talkl to themselves. It works

volatile. There quite isn't a criminal consensus on assisted suicide yet, they actual everyone seems to be establishing themselves to the a threat charge of homicide or manslaughter. And there quite are motives to prohibit assisted suicides, if the guy desires to die, they are able to do it themselves. 20 panadols or napping pills might do the trick. the guy "helping" quite might desire to keep out of it. traditionally, that's been confirmed that "professional-suicide" advocates have a habit of pressuring terminally sick sufferers into following their schedule, or maybe intentionally inflicting melancholy to get what they want. to no longer point out "involuntary suicide" circumstances. a.ok.a homicide. This sounds extra like yet another "professional-suicide" political media stunt, attempting to a million) popularise the situation and a pair of) acclimatise the generic public to the belief of "helping" a suicide. Edit: And Hannah, i grew to become into pointing out a fact concerning the criminal place, no longer an opinion, you have been pointing out an opinion, know the version. yet I do get the element on rapid appearing neuro-degenerative problems. it is likewise a fact that there are human beings enjoying "God" whilst attempting to conceal it as compassion. Dr Krovakian and elderly domicile "Assisted"-involuntary suicides (aka murders) are traditionally documented circumstances. And so are human beings employing the melancholy of others to play political video games. Hospitals are depressing places, no longer purely for sufferers yet docs too, quite elementary to slip into melancholy and manipulated into suicidal inclinations.

If you are in the UK then subscribe to the telephone preference service - it then becomes an offence for them to do so.
