HD-DVD will win, and I can tell you exactly why. Blu-Ray indeed holds a fraction more data, but it's not significant enough to make a difference in the quality of the two. But the key factor is that Sony owns the Blu-Ray technology, and the Sony Studios will likely be releasing every movie they make or have made in this format. For the other movie studios to choose to release their films on Blu-Ray would be like handing money to Sony - their competitor.

It's just like when Pepsi owned KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell. All of those restaurants' competitors switched to Coke, because if they sold Pepsi drinks, they would essentially be handing money to their competition.

Blu-Ray...it holds more info...TONS more, so there's gonna be tons more special features for DVD fans (Let's hope the movie community doesn't screw us again with special features)
