What did americans ever do to others?

I've been to many countries visiting and working. I have never, ever ran into someone who said they hated Americans. I even met some French people last year and talked to them. They said they loved Americans. It's the news pointing out the negative only as always. What country have you been to lately?

I don't think the question lies in what americans do, the answer is in the way other people take the Americans.
I am Canadian and in my next life I choose to be born American. Life is not a personality contest.....I think the American spirit, intelligence and loyalty is among the strongest in the world.

Some just hate/dislike our form of government. Some don't like our current political leaders (I don't either...). Some are just jealous, because here in U.S. you can start from nothing and become a millionaire, and this is something not really very possible in other countries.

i am an indian. i hate americans bcoz they think only they have power n u r want to b king on world. of course u have power n money so u have to help other nations instand of that u r doing war , put laws on poor nation, fight against who cant even stand in front u.

They are so bloody over the top and over dramatic in absolutely everything they do and they have an obsession with guns
