How much does insulin cost in Egypt? Is it expensive? How much money would a person need to make in a month (in Egyptian pounds) in order to have insulin every day and live a comfortable life? Not a wealthy one, I mean middle class.

all medicines in egypt are government sponsored and super cheap. you may end up paying a dollar a day or so. you don't need a prescription for most, but to find insulin, it's of course better to have a doctor find it for you, as there is sometimes a shortage.
the money you need for living depends on your lifestyle. you can live like an egyptian for about 2000 EP per month. if you want to live in the expat community in maadi or so, count on at least 1000 US$ for the rent to start with, food is cheap.
