Yes, I'd rather have lived knowing I had the experience of love than to have died not knowing something that added quality to my life.

I think whoever wrote that quote never experienced love before. Too complicated an emotion to be framed in so simple a sentence as that. Sometimes, I wish I'd never loved at all. I think I'd have been a lot better off without it.

Depends how its lost, depends on the love. A clean break can be the difference between life after love or just plain living.

To live next to a school and to attend a school, which ine has a better experience? Or to have been to a city and to read about a city>
To smell and to tast? It goes on. Certainly, to love and lost is a great experience that guides life, though a dangerous incident to go thru. I went thru one and thank God for friends and faith, i came out and now live to look back and thank my God. I have it happy and i look back to smile not to regret. I thank my God once more that i lost the first time.

I think to have the experience is better than sitting on the sidelines. Even a beaten warrior makes friends in the tournament. A wallflower may never realize he had the power to love at all.

Really not a simple question. I am happy to have loved and been loved so completely, but it makes life very empty and lonely when the love is gone. It is very difficult to invest like that twice.

Yes. If you've never been loved or loved someone else you haven't lived a full life, even if it didnt last forever as least you experienced it once

I guess it depends on the person and each person is different. A lot of people have said yes, for very good reasons- or atleast good when the reason applies to them anyway. I personally think no, because it can leave you emotionally scarred, and those scars take a very long time to heal........if they heal at all.

That is my favorite quote because it helps me so much when I get my feelings hurt by somebody I love and have lost.
