If you feel flattered then it isn't considered harassment. Harassment only occurs when what was said or done makes you feel uncomfortable. I believe that anytime someone touches you without permission and the gesture is unwanted, is a violation of your privacy but not necessarily harassment. Repeated attempts at this after being told that you do not like this kind of display becomes harassment. You must speak out to the person making the advances to let them know that you are uncomfortable with his or her actions. If it continues then you have grounds to make a complaint.

It doesn't matter if one person finds it flattering- the fact remains that sexual advancements belong in bars, not at a workplace. A woman or man should be able to work without fear of being exploited.

I AGREE WITH YOU, MANY PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LAW AND FILE IT WHEN ITS NOT TRUE JUST BC YOU CAN. IF SOMEONE CURSES IN FRONT OF YOU IN THE WORK PLACE, THATS CONSIDERED SEXUAL HARRASSMENT, THATS TOO EXTREME IN MY OPINION, WE SHOULD ALL BE ADULTS, THE ONLY NEED FOR THE LAW IS IF YOU ARE ARE SERIOUSLY HARRASSED AND IT MAKES YOU UMCOMFORTABLE, AS A MALE OR FEMALE

My personal view, it is only harassment if it makes you uncomfortable. There may be a fine line between flattery and harassment, but some people are just too damn sensitive if you ask me.
