No, I think it's going to be a killer ending (no pun intended), and JK Rowling was very perceptive when she said "If I kill off the characters, then there can be no 'non-author-written sequels,' the series will end as I want it to."

Good luck to her - she seems like a really grounded individual, and though I can't read what she writes, I'm glad that so many people ahve got pleasure from her books.

In fact i was very engrossed in the first 3 series; But since the 4th & 5th series, i start to find it getting hard to concentrate.. Maybe the stories are not as exciting as the first 3 series

depends on who the characters are i guess. i mean, i'd be ecstatic if voldemort finally dies. and maybe harry too in one way or the other. nothing against harry, but i feel the same way as rowling does. by giving harry a VERY DIGNIFIED death, i can finally say goodbye to the books and won't be craving for another instalment. it'd give me closure and allow lots of fans to move on and stop bugging rowling for prequels or sequels, provided that she does give justice to the characters' deaths.
