We emigrated from England to the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada. We moved to experience a totally different lifestyle. The weather is much better; mild winters and good summers. In fact, we're in the middle of a heatwave.
It's a very different lifestyle. Much more outdoorsy. Also, as we're a bit off the beaten path, people here seem much more keen to have spontaneous barbecues etc.
We still love England but it's great to have the opportunity to experience somewhere else - not many people have the chance to do what we've done.

I moved to America from England because my parents found a good job there. I miss England and sometimes wish I could have stayed there. I would move to England right now if I wasn't so happy where I am. Great people, my friends, great education, big houses, and more.

Well not me but my mom and dad moved to Spain. My dad was sat on the motorway outside Coventry for hours in the traffic and he just decided then that he didn't want this way of life anymore, he was having to do this journey every day and it was getting him down.
Fortunately he was in the position where he could take early retirement so three years ago off they went. They absolutely love it out there. No traffic, no rat race. England is just too hectic, we could do with taking some tips from our Spanish amigos.
