There's a big chance.
Germany being the host, always an advantage in terms of getting the support of the home crowds.
I imagine the stadion will be 90% filled with German supporters when Germany is playing. No place for supporters of the opposite team, eh? haha ...
The members of the squad are young and talented, I don't see why not. Brazil is overrated.

The favourites are Germany and Brazil. The next teams are Argentina, Portugal and Spain. Italy were lucky to beat the Socceroos - the ref last night needed a seeing eye dog.
Brazil has won it five times and the host has won it three times. Germany has won it three times. The winner of the quarter-final between Germany and Argentina will have a lot of say in this competition and Brazil are too classy to leave out of calculations.

Surely Italy can't beat them! (at least if they play the way we've seen them so far).
Germany plays against Argentina at the Quarter Finals and I think Argentina will win.

I'd hate to break it to you, but from all the top nations so far, Italy have been the worse! Especially for all their talent.
Germany has been the best so far in terms of the 2nd round performances. Bu their defence will be tested truly when they face the mighty Argentinians!
