Well, birds actually do chirp during what we consider the 'nighttime', from 4am until sunset. It very well may be real birds chirping if it falls in that time frame. I have even heard them as early as 2am. If it doesnt bother you, continue to laugh and let it go. If it does, let your doberman out. They can tell the difference and will gladly flush out the 'bird'. But birds do chirp at night. If it bothers you look for it.

A bird. Some swallows are up and about at night. Nightjars, swifts, and owls are possible.

We have mockingbirds around here, and they make all kinds of noise during the night, they mimic every bird, its maddening!
