I'm just curious about it now because of a conversation I had with a friend. We were talking about how most people dislike Americans, and my friend corrected me and told me that most people don't like white Americans. I think I agree with her.

Who doesn't like Americans? I think this Administration has turned other countries against Americans as a whole. They just don't like our country and what the Administration stands for.

Wow. You speak so much of racism and people's colors...yet we are ALL HUMAN BEINGS. People like you PROMOTE racism by focusing on the fact that our skins may be different colors, our body's different shapes, our hair different. For people saying that it's 'this adminstrations' fault that the entire world hates americans? Go back to school and actually pay attention in World History. Do you remember the Iran Hostage Crisis? Wow...apparently the Muslims knew back then that George Bush Jr. would one day be president....cause they sure did hate america!! most hate is caused by religious differences...which trace back thousands of years. Look at the middle east...the problems there and with terrorism are all realted to religious feelings of superiority. And some religions (even chrisitans) feel that the US has very VERY low morals...with all the gratuatious sex in society here today. It's not a simple issue that can be resolved/correctly answered on this forum.

I would suggest that you have a conversation with a person saying negative things and find out specifically what it is they dislike.
Usually it will be some vague generalization or bias they picked up from the media, their culture, etc. A logical error, all too common.
Most people are OK... you take the time to get to know them individually in a non-judgemental way.
