One option is u need check ur system while it is booting via dos mode. all the properties of m/b v'll b displayed while it is booting
2nd option is to opn CPU case N look @ m/b, u may find sound cards, vga cards, RAM slots, Processor slot etc.
To identify Processor, unplug the fan which is sittin top on processor and take the processor slate. It v'll hav a sticker showing the speed and brand name.
N.B: It is very imp to keep processor fan properly, other wise ur system may not boot properly.
Suggest not opn the case while system is running.

There is a wonderful program called Sisoft Sandra that can tell you almost anything about your system without having to open the case.
It's free.
Usually it can ID your system board right to it's model number, and your processor including brand, speed, cache level ec.

This is the simplest way:
Right click on My computer & select Properties. You can see your systems info on the page, but for more details, select "hardware" tab & then click on "device manager", then you can find all your hardware info of your system overthere.

you can check your processor from your bios, etc...you can only check your motherboards if you will open your casing and see info there, like the redfox motherboard, etc., or you have your motherboard setup installed..
