Has anyone ever taken note of this. I thnk this question is more appropriate to the Victorian era.

Wherever you go, the world over, you meet humans with a certain level of livestyle. I mean people who lived in wooden houses, people who wear clothes, etc. We have never met any wild men, who lived like wild animals, eat raw meat or who catches his prey using brute force.

All the people today, whether backward or advanced, possessed a certain level of knowledge and intellectual capability. It is also because of this that is why if people from advanced countries want to modernise them, they can do it relatively easily.

But when I think about this, it is ironic. Man, especially early man, lost touch with each other when they left Africa millions of years ago. Yet, they can progress more or less at the same pace with each other. If we were to find primitive men who still eat raw food or who hunts like wild animals, it would be more believeable.

humanity has evolved over the centuries and we now have many capabilities that we did not have before. since we live in societies to reproduce, etc. any truly remote individuals die off without offspring so everyone continues to progress at least at a base level of capability since we are truly a global society.

we have also lost the capability to eat some kinds of raw meat because we invented fire so long ago and got dependant on it to make our food taste better. it also easier to preserve when it is cooked.

There are still some men who eat raw food, especially in Japan.

Sorry, but your question is a bit shallow and silly. There are still hunter gatherers but the attractions of civilisation are strong. Would you rather spend every day scratching for food in the bush, or go to the supermarket?
