Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.

Love is not a feeling u get
Love is all about ur passion for one anothere
Love is the pain u get when u don't see him/her
Love is the pain u get when u don't feel his/her touch
Love is not a play thing for u to play with cuz it'll come back and bite ur as*
Love is like the feeling u get when u sees him/her walking by and when he/she calls u in the middle of the night to tell u that she/he loves u
Love is not an expression
Love is something u can't express through words
Love is something u can't live without

Love is to give and to expect nothing else in return but the same
kind of love. That's totally impossible. One side is doing all the giving and the other side is doing all the taking. I think that just a few lucky ones find true love.

this is a very big question. i propose you to read the encliclical letter of pope Benedict XVI. the title is deus caritatis est. The pope said that we have to make a big difference between love and other concepts. love comes from god and therefore it seeks only the well being of humanity and the rest of creation. love does not seek for its own interest but it seeks for the interest of others. Jesus is love because he gave freely his live for us without asking for interest. He is the expression of love which has its source in god. read deus caritatis est

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me is...

(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
