Tight jeans, colorful belt (usually with studs), Retro/old T-shirt (one that is entirely too small), wristbands, and Converse or some kind of skate shoe. And. The hair is way important, too.

This is funny,
Emo is such a encompasing term, because it is used to describe more genres and sub geners that have anything to do with the term.
Clothing is even a funnier question, as punk rock has its look, Indie Kids have that thriftstore college look,
what do Emo people have...thats the problem the term itself is so missused, just look at teh guy from dashboard confessinal and dress like them.

Lots of black......reds too. Tight black jean pants most likely usually black hair cut to the side. Black sweat bands and band t-shirts.
