Back when the term was coined, a dime bag was roughly equal to what people call 'a quarter' these days (1/4 Oz.) You do the math, if you can smokey.
Some of you old timers out there may remember a time when $10 would buy an ounce but probably most of your memories are shot to hell by now.

Sorry to say, that a "dime bag" is not a measurement of quantity, so much as a method by which a vendor may measure out $10 worth of the product at current market value.
Roughly, if you're looking at a measured amount, say an 1/8th of an ounce of a product, that sells for $25-30 regularly, think that a third of that would be a "dime."
Or, in another rough estimation based on cultural reference, enough for one person to use in one night.
