soccer (or football as I prefer) is great because it's a sport :) as well as cricket, but, since I don't know how to play a cricket, football is still better for me :)
sport suit person :) it's like a type of your character. some love volleyball, some love baseball, you love cricket and I love football :)
all sports are great, and I don't think there's one greater then the other :) football is more popular because it has longer history, I think that's all :) if I maybe great in cricket, I will surely said things like you too :)
so, let's not limit ourselves with the kind of sport, but make it universal, let's say.. sport is great because sport is our life :)

cricket and foot ball was invented at the same time but fottie got poppular by the world cup and where as cricket in thoose days only test was there and no one dayers .cricket world cup which is one dayers is only invented recently and by that time footie has gained poppularity
