Absolutely. I am 43, and my husband and I build and fly model rockets. At the contests I've been to, I've only seen a few children--most people shooting off their rockets are adults. And I've seen many models, not just rockets, that I think are way too intricate for children. Why wouldn't it be acceptable?

Of course! Don't let age be an anchor on your favourite hobbies. I plan to play Super Mario Brothers and build Legos 'till the day i die. Do what you love.
