He was not in a gang, he went to church every Saturday, he was attempting to get this h.s. diploma while going to adult school so that we could get into art school. He really wanted out of that area but one nite, out of the blue, someone, just shot him down. We have lived there 10+ years so he was well known. I guess anyone that may know something please, please, please, help me!!!! thank you and God Bless.

I'm truly sorry for the loss of your son. I lost a sister to a dread disease 18 years ago and it still hurts to talk about it. Only time and prayer can soothe your loss. You must visit the cemetery on a frequent basis and pray for his eternal salvation until you feel that God has heard your prayers. You will know it when He does.

I suspect your son was killed by a gangbanger "making his bones" with his gang. To prove a potential member is good enough to join a gang, he must commit two random crimes that are witnessed by an existing member. This seals his allegiance and silence to the gang. I hope the police find something soon to crack the case and the person(s) who did it are caught and sent to prison for life.

May your faith in God and His Power see you through...

I will pray for you. Your son is now in a better place and is free from tears. I know this is little consolation to you who have lost someone so dear to you. Somehow try to be happy for him because he is OK . You will be together again someday.

You had 10+ yrs. to move out of that hole. Your predicament is precisely why I dislike urban areas. Those ruthless cro-magnons have such a disregard for human life!!!

Write to your local Representative, congressman or even Bush himself.
"You really DO, have my deepest sympathies though"
