I dont think cleaning and fun can be put into the same sentence...it may even be illegal in some states lol. The timer idea was a good one, set a timer for 15 minutes and work on one room of your house, youd be surprised how racing the timer makes you work faster and get things done!
Here's a website to check out...totally free! :)

I had heard on the amazon website you could purchase the Cd's of drill sargent's calling out a very effective drill calls. People put the "music" on and go to work!! I was thinking about purchasing. Good luck!! Oh another idea is to put 10 minutes on a timer and clean for 10.

audition people and rehearse for weeks so that way on house cleaning day you will singing a mass number with hundereds of people. like you see in the musicals and TV shows. Now, the clean up after the number may negate the hard work of cleaning, but didn't you have fun singing with hundreds of strangers?

Make very easily manageable chunks of work at hand - divide the work over some days. . After you finish a chunk relax, treat yourself to something yummy. If you feel motivated to continue working - go ahead. This way if you complete more than what you had decided you will feel happy and motivated for the next day/

I hate it too...more than anything. I usually put on some comfortable clothes, make a good play list on the computer, have a few beers and get to cleaning. Tommorrow is drunken cleaning time.

Always think that by doing the chores, keeps you fit and healthy and makes your family safe and confy.Encourage them to help you as if you were just playing and so that you may not feel self-pitiful and exhausted or rather make a chart of division of labor in the house.

Set up your CD player to play some good songs that you always want to dance on and have good rhythm and try cleaning while you sing and even dance in the room.

I hate it too, however I don't like to live in filth...so I clean and clean and clean. I turn up my music, and away I go.
