I admire your courage and your effort, but it is time to upgrade. You're going to run into the law of diminishing returns here, as you put more and more effort into making your computer work with fewer and fewer results.

The next version of Windows is coming out early next year. You can probably get a deal on XP now, since it's about to become obsolete.
