I am reading three right now.
Persuasion by Jane Austen for the 2nd time
Wicked by Gregory Maguire for the 3rd time
The First Man in Rome by Colleen McCullough for the first time.

Its nice to read multiple novels at a time, just make sure they all take place in different time periods and you have no problem with confusing them.

And I just finnished reading The Reckoning by Sharon Kay Penman,( the 3rd book in the triology starting with Here Be Dragons,) which was about the fall of Wales to King Edward (Longshanks). It made me cry.

"Tantras" by Richard Awlinson, I think that's how the author's last name is spelled. It's book 2 of a trilogy. I never read book one, but that's okay, this one summarizes a bit about what's happened. It's a World of Greyhawk, or Forgotten Realms setting book, written in the 1980's. I'm halfway through but just haven't been in the mood to read in about a week. It's really good.

Two people are accused of a murder they did not commit and are scheduled for execution. A thief breaks them out and they escape on a stolen boat on the river. They send out assassins to get them back. They become separated and the thief pretends to join the bad guys. Lord Bane and some number two evil dude are in it, forget his name. Intricate villains.

'Here be Dragons' by Sharron Penman. It's about Llewellyn the Great, a Welsh prince, and his wars with England for Welsh independance in the last 1100s and early 1200s. It's a good read.

"The Truth About Diamonds" by Nicole Ritchie. Both she and Paris Hilton were ditzy; Nicole, however, I feel stands a chance of actually growing up smart.

The book should offer clues if I'm right. Here's hoping as I read on.
