Some babys can be a little lazy but if you have felt regular movement generally it should continue
HOW TO MAKE BABY KICK
Go and get a large glass of soda or cordial really cold and really sweet drink the lot
within 10-30 min the baby should kick
if nothing call your doctor
WHY BABIES DONT KICK
~your placenta could be at the front cushioning movement
~the baby; has a 40 minute sleep wake cycle so may be sleeping
~you are unwell and babies are quiet
~you havent eaten and the baby has a low sugar as well and will be quiet
~there is a problem with the placental flow and the baby is not well
SHOULD YOU WORRY
~if you cant make it move with glucose contact your doctor or the local birth suite today and get the baby checked over
~it will reassure you all is well

23 weeks pregnant is still pretty early to feel hard kicks constantly, ask your doctor how often you should be feeling kicks at 23 weeks. Laying down, relaxing with cold water, a snack, and some fruit should get the baby moving. Talk to your doctor at your next apointment, or sooner if you do not feel movement at all in 24 hours.

Babies, while still in the womb, sleep a lot. You may notice certain times when your baby is awake. for my son, he was awake pretty much every morning at or around 3:00- 4:00. Other times, he would be still.
If you have ANY concerns, call your doctor or the hospital you will be delivering at. My hospital's delivery wing gave me a lot of help during my pregnancy. Count how many kicks you feel and at what times. If it seems dramatically less one day that it usually is, call the hospital and they can do a "stress test" on your baby.

This must be your first pregnancy. To get anxious over the babies movements or lack there of is comepletely normal. Eating certain foods will make them really active (like things with sugar or caffiene), and then you might get worried when they seem to go several hours with what seems to be little or no movement. If you really feel there is a problem, you should really go see your doc. More then likely you're just having anxieties, i'm sure everything is gonna be ok. Crongratulations, and good luck. :)

Maybe it was naptime for baby-boo.When you lie down you sort of give it a horizontal position.it might be sleeping too.If you wanna feel it kick either stand around,or sit down in a high-back chair or a sofa, or walk around.

it's perfectly normal. your baby will not be moving constantly. you will feel it more later in the pregnancy. also remember they do sleep as well (a lot) 'cause they grow very fast. when you are moving around you rock them to sleep as well.

don't worry sometimes you'll go through certain periods of time when you don't feel the baby to much and other times they'll be kicking you all day and night
