The people you meet, ,the things you see, your outlook on life, how much you think about how you will spend the remainder of it, who you love, who hurts you, how you think, how you react, what you experience, what you don't experience, what you wish for, what you fear, what you dream, what and who you worry about, your priorities, your values, your feelings, and your perspective

Experience, plain and simple!
I'm sorry, I'm still upset over the answers I was just reading when someone asked about why homeless are treated so bad. This question just seemed to follow so logically-
Everything changes about a person when they experience truly different things. Observing isn't truly experiencing... it's close and has some effect, but not the same. You may ask your friend what happened in Jamaica.

Everything has an effect on someone. Weather it's a place, a person, or a thing, somehow, somewhere, someday, it'll effect someone. Peoples attitudes and lives are changed every day, by even the simplist things. Sometimes, all it takes is a glimpse at something for your whole vew to be inverted. I.E., your friend could have seen a different way of life much different than her own, which caused her to have more appriciation. I don't know, really.. It's hard to explain.

Well in simple words, the environment changes people; environment in what a person had been would definitely change everything. For a simple example if you go for a movie, you tend to react for the theme; in either towards it or agianst it.
Likewise your friend had been to a different environment (Jamaica) so the changes are inevitable.

Sometimes, just getting needed rest enables you to put things in a better perspective. That's the value of a holiday--recharge those mental batteries! Plus, travel is broadening--it shows you that there is a world outside of your little mind. Not everybody changes, and not every change lasts, but it is interesting to see the process.

Society has a way of creating itself.
While ultimately we may have a choice. How and why that choice is made is influenced by previous events in our lives. Thus we may not choose to do what we would like to do,but end up choosing what we MUST do.
Sounds like a bunch of double speak but if you think about it for a moment, it really does make sense.
