According to me dimple happen just accidentally. Even Preity Zinta the famous Indian actress has one natural dimple and another she got while fall over on a stone that digged in her cheeks and resulted in dimple.

Hahaha. You are actually gonna believe that she got her other dimple when she fell over a stone. She was kidding when she said that in an interview. Ofcourse she has two natural dimples.
And my Maths teacher in Year 4 had two as well.

If I understand the question right, my nephew has two, very deep, dimples. He was born with both of them. Most of the people I know that have them, have two and they came as a pair.

I have two dimples. They were alot more noticeable when i was younger, but you can still see them clearly. I have not noticed this to be a rarity of any sort. I guess I will have to keep my eye out from now on.

Yes, I have dimples in both cheeks, so does my son and his son also had them. All natural.

My older sister has dimples in both her cheecks naturally and she looks so cute when she smiles...her daughter is a year old and she has a big one on her right cheeck I love it when they smile together
