First of all practice safe sex, and I personally knew a woman that got pregnant while having sex during her period. Don't take chances, a baby deserves to have a stable home.

It is very rare to get pregnant during your period, but can happen. I am sure that since he "pulled out" that time, he has done this at other times too. The two of you need to sit down and talk about sex, pregnancy, and birth control. You need to decide on a type. You need to see a OBGYN and he needs to see his doctor to be checked for STD's also.
Back to you being late. If you do not start in about 3-4 days, get you a home pregnancy test. Use the first urine of the day because it contains the most Beta-HCG which is the hormone that sustains pregnancy and causes the test to be positive. If this test was to come out negative you are really lucky. You still need to see an OBGYN for what I discussed above.
Just remember, what do you can people who use the rhythm method as birth control? PARENTS

It is a MYTH that you can't get pregnant on your period...the ovarian hormone cycles overlap between 1-2 days, so it is realistically and scientifically possible.
One thing I know from my own personal experience is that having sex on a frequently regular basis can delay your period, but not because you are pregnant...but I am not sure why scientifically.
On the other hand I have also had the experience of not have sex for a while and then suddenly being sexually active again and this can induce a period...again I'm not sure why scientifically.

You can't get pregnant during your period. There is nothing for the egg to attach to. Your uterine walls are breaking down and flushing out the egg.
