Thick girls have a little extra weight, but no bulging, it is more on presentation. A thick girl normally just has a little extra, while a chubby girl has quiet a bit extra.

Chubby is a person that is big but not too fat. Thick is, toned.
Black guys say a girl is thick when she has a fat a** with no dimples. Hell I don't know, I've been called both.

Chubby would be over weight.
Thick would mean large bones with normal fat on the body, I think.
Some people say a person is thick, when they are indicating they are stupid.
Thick is also a term for someone who is very dumb.

Chubby is round and loose, but not necessarily flabby. Think of a cherub (little winged angel).
Thick denotes wide but SOLID. Think of an oak tree.
