All right, I must admit you have made your point very clear!
Likewise your wording is quite sound.
Perhaps we must give it a second thought and
Elaborate the other way around as well
Really do you want to get it right?

Your dead wrong if you think a housewife isnt a working wife. Running a household is an all day every day job. At least a "working" wife gets days off!
I am a stay at home mom/housewife and I work my butt off keeping things in order! He makes the money but I'm the one who pays all the bills, balances the accounts, keeps up with housework and the children.

Working wife. Housewife to me symbolizes no independence in the real world, and that era has passed. A working wife becomes even better at multitasking, since they are surviving in the real world as well as holding a family together. I'd go insane being a housewife.

Obviously a wife that fills the void and emptiness in the heart and gives the male enough warmth and comfort -housewife.Relationships are vey complex and sensitive. It's very easy to break a relation and highly difficult to bring it back together.A husband needs to be given enough support to face every difficulty with ease.Especially in a nuclear family the husband being the only child has a lot to compete for.Relatives are not much of a support either. And what about that small eight or ten year old girl or boy?Ok! even there are two kids there is no surity that they can be raised in the right and careful manner.Children are impressionable and the babysitters only make them more indulgent. They are not very strict and always find something to mix in the kid's food(may be a doze of sleeping pills or alcohol) to put them into a long, deep and dreamy sleeep. And then they party or call friends or simply gossip on the phone. The kids become spoilt and there is even danger to their life if we think that the babysitter is every baby's best friend.

Are you saying a housewife isn't a working person? Umm.

Do you get a choice? Id rather be a house-husband if someone else paid all the bills, am not sure what my wife would prefer tho!

:-)

working wife. housewives are too dependent on their men, which can make some men go nutts because at the end of a long work day they have to come home and solve every little problem that came up while he was gone. ironic how a lot of men like the housewife idea because it makes them feel secure about their own manhood, while a working wife will be more satisfied with her life and more able to love her husband

Just to put things in perspective. Here is a real life anecdote. Ms X was married to Mr. Y and they both lived in a neighbourhood of working women who were also housewives. Ms X was well educated, not working but was an excellent housewife. Her neighbours used to chide her for remaining in the house. So she took up a job and was a working housewife for a few years. Mr. Y worked hard and over the years both of them bought their own house and moved into a richer neighbourhood. Ms X was the only women working in that neighbourhood and her neighbours were apalled that she needed to work. They chided her as to why she was working instead of enjoying life and stay at home with her kids.

Bottomline:

If you need the money, then send your wife to work. If you don't need money, but your wife loves to work, then let her work without a salary. As a proud husband i would like to be in a position where my wife need not work. She should not work because of her neighbours pressure but can work without salary if she loves to do something.

What the hell, when i do not want to work under a boss, why should my wife suffer that indignity? Learn to be rich and financially free. America is the land of opportunity. Don't waste your opportunities working for someone else.
