My finace' sister who is a little over 50, very sweet loving person, everyone can't help but love has been in a battle with stomach cancer for over a year now, and they are stopping the kemo, and giving her 3-6 months to live. Her mother died of the same thing when she was young, it is not fair to her beautiful daughter and granddaughter or 18 months. Plus I don't know if my finace' will be able to handle it. I am worried he will fall off the wagon, and that will be another tragedy. Please prove the power of prayer to help her get better. Her name is Brenda and we live in the USA . Pray with me now please. I believe in God, but do not attend church but once in a blue moon. I believe we have the power to do many great things. Thank you for your time.

I'd have them get in contact with the Cancer Center in Florida. Moffitt is a good one. Fennel and Shark will not cure cancer.

Now, I will pray for your future sister in law and the whole family involved. However, you need to understand that a lot of stuff happens that isn't fair. She has at least been warned. Babies, children, parents young & old die each and every day with no warning. She could become cured and be driving to Target and get hit by a semi. It happens.

What she should do is pray (of course!) and enjoy every minute of every day! She should make a list of 5 things she wants to do in the next few months and everyone should help her do everything on her list.

I will pray for her. I will also pray for her daughter and granddaughter.

Prayers to the Creator are pointedly answered, and prayers are pointedly ignored, by the Creator -- depending on how much the petitioner has taken the trouble to find out what the Creator really wishes of His children. If they are trying he responds more. He has been clear about what He wishes. People can pray like mad without making any genuine effort in the right direction and then what good does a lot of empty prayer do?

Prayer by definition is a myth. What you need is concentration. If one can concentrate on a given problem and work towards solving it, one should end up finding a solution. If you consider a person is suffering beyond explanation, the suffering will come to an end either way. The strength and intensity of focus will decide the outcome!

May the healing power of Our Lord assist this woman in her time of suffering and pain. May the healing process be revealed and the faith that sustains us all show the way to an alternate form of healing that will improve her health and ultimately heal her. May God show you the way and may that way be shown in such a way that you know that it is indeed coming from God. Amen

I will pray, yes, but I'm not going to do anything to prove it to you. My father passed away in February of this year from Lung Cancer that he battled for three years. Oh, we prayed and prayed but it was God's will and it was his time to go to Heaven to be with God himself. If its God's will that your Fiance's sister is to die than no amount of praying will change that. I will pray though.

Praying doesn't do any good. For the love of god, you just sit there, mumbling to yourself. How does that help anything?

Prayer is powerful but I can only pray for her peace of mind and God's will. I can also pray for the peace of mind of your fiance'.

May God bless them all. (and you for caring so much)
