A person's criminal history is private and protected. In fact even a police officer is prevented by law from releasing criminal history information on someone if the recipient is not authorized to receive it (for instance, another law enforcement agency). An arrest record to some degree is obtainable though if it has already been made part of the 'public record'. If you know in which county a person was arrested and prosecuted, a trip to the court clerk's office may provide you with conviction verification information, but not very complete information.

A persons criminal arrest is not private. It's in the
newspaper. If local , check the Library.

its not private or protected at all if they have a criminal history go to the government website for inmates...do a google search for corrections in your state, type in their name once you get there and it should come up
