I'd have to say it changes all the time. Haven't seen many music vids lately, but I used to be a big Christina A. fan and thought her music vids were pretty innovative (aside from 'Dirrty' that was just plain trash, though perhaps enjoyable trash). 'Fighter' showed her more gothic, feisty side, 'The Voice Within' she just was hot, 'Beautiful' was kinda weird and controversial, "CAn't Hold Us Down" was really fun to watch, very clever concept video.
Evanescence's "Going Under" was fun to watch, and "Everybody's Fool" was a really clever concept, I liked it a lot.
Bands tend to have boring vids though IMO, like Chevelle it's just the guys playing guitar half the time. U2 has some interesting music videos, they're usually more innovative.
I dunno, I can't narrow it down to one there's lots of good ones

i like 2 music videos. i like:
1. buttons-PCD
i like this video because of the effects in them and how there are chairs, but they aren't really there and how that fire is also fake and the girls are just awesome singers!
2.SOS-rihanna
i like this video becuase of the room with the mirrors and the dancing moves! the dancers are awesome and the beat is cool too. the settings where it was filmed also go along great with the song and such.

I would have to say any U2 video. Okay, but if I HAD to choose, I would pick any version of the "One" music video. There are 3 types and each has a different appeal.

Either Pink's "Dear Mr. President" (Rosie O'Donnell video montage version) or Sarah McLachlan's "World on Fire."
Both of them are very moving & socially conscientious.
For sheer artistic merit, my all-time favorite music video would have to be REM's "Losing My Religion."
