In an interview JKR has said that she wrote the final chapter on the 7th book years ago and locked it away. She's made a little chnage to what she wrote back then but still, two main characters get killed ........... she hasn't said which but did add that evil doesn't usually go for the 'bit part characters' and so the two that die are central to the book!

I asked the same question earlier today too, plus I encounter once someone elses one before. I guess we love Harry Potter!
I hope Voldemort dies cause I am hoping J.K doesn't let us linger forever of the treath he poses. I also want to see Draco death he is a coward. Hope they endup together..
You know what, after reading so much about it. Voldemort probably lives because everyone wants to see him dead. The book is complete, not like some comments above.

Voldermort for definate, that is what all of the books have been leading up to, and i would bet (But hope not) Professer Lupin, I hope he doesn't I think Fenier Greyback or wormtail will do it, wortail with his silver hand, or Greyback as he is a very vicous werewolf and probably could kill him, I hope Professer Lupin doesn't die though. However J.K is getting into the habbit of killing of V V V good charecters, first Sirius, Then Dumbledore, Next i'm afraid to admit it but I bet Professer Lupin.

Harry and Voldemort.
As their fate has been entwined from the start, it makes sense that harry is the final horcrux containing part of voldemort's life force, harry realises that to get rid of voldemort, he has to die himself, he makes the sacrifice to save the world the same way dumbledore did to save draco

Why don't you just wait and see when the book comes out, I am. There is al lot of rumours flying around about witch character(s) is/are going to die, don't listen to them, just wait.

i don't want any character to die because i won't be able to read the harry potter's series.but if you say so then i guess voldemort and one of harry friend.
