I like fallout and fallout 2. Are there any books with a similar world? I would love to read such a book, total chaos, no order, all about sirvival, cant trust anyone.

"Alas Babylon" was the first post apocalyptic novel I read, some 30 years ago. It is set in the 50's or early 60's and a bit dated, but it was a great story.

phillip k dick's The Man in the High Castle
almost anything by Ayn Rand: The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Anthem
also, it's a kid's book but still really good: Z for Zachariah, although I don't know the author

I really enjoyed the book lucifers hammer a bit boring in the beginning but it really picks up I think the author is larry niven

mmmi love them too, i have read so many they have formed a cohesive mass in my cranial cavity

If you like sci fi, i highly recommend any thing by William Gibson, the inventor of Cyber Punk

Try Robert R McCammon's "Swan Song". Quite long, but I really enjoyed it.
