It was Kevin Spacey on tonight's show. But Paul Schaeffer (the band leader) does it every week or so with the Carnac bit. Letterman was Carson's pick to take over the Tonight Show, not Leno. But the NBC exec's. did not grant his request, so Johnny never went on Leno's show. But he did go on Letterman's three times that I can remember. Dave is much funnier than Jay. And Paul Schaeffer is a great musician and very funny as well. :)

Although Dana Carvey does do the best Carson impression (so it was a good guess John T), tonight's guest was Kevin Spacey, so I would give the points to Sparkling G.
