We are. The people and government had there head up their rear-ends on 9-11. Because of a spirit of carelessness we did not react to the warning signs picked up by subordinates who communicated the emergency of the situation. Bush was warned in his morning briefings, but failed to act. Agents in the field were picking up information about the High-Jack teams, but the FBI and the CIA fumbled the information away. Plus the warning signs of continued desires to attack the World Trade Center were just treated as if the attackers had no chance of success. The leaders and the People of the Country were asleep at the switch. The crazy thing is that we are all still asleep even now.
It is no secret that America's sense of Manifest Destiny is still alive and well. We think that our Country is protected by God or something, that God loves us best, but there is plenty of evidence that it is not true. God well leave the protection up to the humans.
I saw it in Southeast Asia. We thought the Vietnamese were absolutely over matched against us, but we wrong, and we have made the same mistake in Iraq. Bush and his staff have over-estimated our abilities and under-estimated our enemies abilities from the beginning and it has not changed.
I hope we get the lesson that these small wars are trying to teach us this time, or we are doomed to make the same mistake again. And if we do, this time of next we will loss our Army.

The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the liberal policy they followed and their lack of foresight . How else can somebody learn to become a pilot and that too the knowledge to take off only and not landing.The security lapse in allowing the conspirators to board the planes.
Even in India I have personally experienced the security procedures and delays to which even in innocent elderly passengers being subjected to , baggage checking, scanner checking, metal detectors, and finally to identityfy the booked/checked in baggage even for local flights after the bitter hi jack experience in INDIA and elsewhere in the world but how on earth USA continued to take things for granted and followed FREE entry policy for local flights.
So they were sitting lame ducks to be shot within their home land in their own planes by half baked pilots who were trained by the USA training institutes so that the entire world would have a hearty laugh at their laxity in system, though of course a most cruel joke that so many lives were lost that too innocent people of all nationalities.
There are even rumours that these were stage managed etc in
some web site which I dont remember now but it was regarding how the structures have already been planned for destruction in a single hit by plane.

In my view we are only trying to find some scape goats and excuse whereas it is the weakness in the system.Why blame others or find fault with others. Our house has to be set in order.
When you point a fingure out against any body remember three fingers are closed in the fist pointing backwards at us.

I love this guy who's blaming bush, bush,bush. Why is it that Clinton got off scott free from that one, simply because he was lucky enough to be out of office in the nick of time. How long do you think that plan was in the works and you expect me to believe that as* knew nothing about it? Nobody was getting any possible information that if looked into maybe could of shed a little light on what the f*ck was going on. You want someone to blame, blame Bin Laden and his psycho-fanatic followers....Hiding behind the muslim vale, what a cop out real muslims don't believe in violence. I live in NYC, i got caught in the middle of it, blame ourselves? i don't think so. I didn't ask for that and neither did any of the innocent people who went off to work thinking it was just like any other day. Why is it that when something horrible happens, i.e. 911/serial killer we are always looking to find some "hidden cause" some "secret" that could have prevented it. People died that day at the hands of madmen led by 1 madman. Why is that so hard to believe??? The whole world is messed up, why does everyone always blame the US for everything? The biggest problem we have is not helping our own FIRST. But you know what these 3rd world countries aren't stupid, the best thing they could possibly do economicaly is start a war with us-we break their crappy place down and go into debt building them a freaking palace...unbelievable

Had not they been so arogant and killing other nations for their own selfishness(oil and power in the middle east) i dont think anybody would wanted to attack on 9/11. Every action has a reaction. Bush killed the arabs in the middle east, so the arabs came and killed the american people in the US. Plain and simple.
