Drink lots and lots of fluids, juices are best.
Take vitamin C and try to sweat, as much as possible.
If you do what I recommend, your cold will be gone in 7 days.
If you do absolutely nothing, your cold will be gone in a week.
Good Luck and Feel Better

Sore Throat -
Quarter size amount of IODINE on the inside of each wrist.
Gargle with warm salt water.
Cold -
Ester-C tablets - STORE BRAND at Wal*mart are the least expensive.
Dry Cough -
I have so many troubles with that. I think it has a lot to do with the WEATHER. Son has this too & so does husband from time to time. Draining Sinus' causes this also, as well as allergies!
Drink more WATER. KEEP well hydrated.
I have been taking a store brand cold medicine that is for cough/congestion
The doctor gave me antibiotics & decongestant a few months back. WORKED well.

An easy way to stop coughing without the use of cough syrups or medication is to keep some ice cubes in your mouth. This works because the cold numbs the nerves supplying the throat. The ice must be kept continuously in the mouth. If you want to re-mineralize your body during this time, or make the technique more acceptable to children, you can freeze one of the sports drinks into ice cubes.
