Imaginary friends show creativity in children. It shows they know how to use their imagination. It has nothing to do with being popular. As a child I had friends but I was an only child so I had an imaginary friend to play with and sometimes I would blame things on her. I use to play in my closet for hours with her. Her name was Bubbles.

When I was six, I had a imaginary friend named Sarah. I don't remember much about her, but I do remember when I stopped playing with her. I was ten and she came to me and told me she was moving to Florida. I cried a lot, but after that, I never saw her again. I know she was only imaginary, but to me, she was the only person who understood me. Weird, huh?

my daughter has had an imaginary friend since she was 2(she is now 5) HIS name is Greg. He is around all the time and we used to have to set a place for him at the table, give him showers and kisses before bed.As she got older Greg used to do alot of naughty things! if there was milk spilt in the lounge....Greg did it! I keep all these memories written down so when she gets older i can tell her about Greg.

My imaginary friend had the exact same name as me. I justified it by saying that he was imaginary not creative. It made him seem more realistic. Now that I think about it that was a stupid idea. Man I was a stupid little kid.

Yes. His name was Motor Mouse. It was a little mouse that had a motorcycle. My Mom would even set a place for him at dinner and my Dad would open the car door for him when we would go out. Do you think I was a bit spoiled???
