If you reference to the Christian Bible, you will find that answer.
Man was first, women was next. How that happened is debatable. The Bible says she was made from a rib of man and man was made from the soil. So now if you want to think about other stuff like evolution. Well I would say a female because you have to have an egg first to be fertilized. An if you want to get real deep, None of us is from here. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. So what does it matter, all was created from God's energy.

It would have to be the woman because 70 percent of the genetic material come from the female and only 30 from the male. Female gonads decent to be come the testicle. But if it stays in the abdominal cavity becomes the ovaries.
