I'd love to see it, but it seems Brazil can sleepwalk through most opponents.

Ghana has proven that they have tremendous skill and talent. i am almost positive that they would be in the World Cup in 2010 and the world will be in for a shock. Ghana has stood strong against Brazil and i can honestly say they played well. All in all they would not be the last African country to beat Brazil.

Ghana has played well and they're an exciting squad to watch, but I don't think that they will beat Brazil. Brasil 3 : Ghana 1? But even I'd be happy if Ghana could pull off an upset!

I think that the African football must do one thing to raise to top level, stop being so violent! Imagine how many Ronaldinhos or Robinhos in Africa ended their careers sooner because of an injury. By watching them play, you see they don't think too much about consequences when tackling. They hurt themselves more than anybody else with that.

And Ghana didn't lost because of the referee, they lost because they were unable to score a single goal, and they had some great chances, they would lose against anyone that scored a single goal if they keep finishing like that. The coach went for a full-attack strategy, it paid awesomely since they found the gaps on Brazil's defense because they also went full-attack, all the efforts were useless considering everyone was too anxious to make the goal. They shooted at bad spots and situations, giving easy balls for Dida, who is an awesome goalkeeper and wouldn't take those goals.

Against Brazil, you HAVE to score because you know they will, Croatia tried a 11 man defense and was unable to get the draw, you have to score to win...

I guess your question was answered. They did play a good game. But Brazil can put it into a new gear whenever is necessary. I think Ghana could have advanced against any other team but Brazil in the round of 16.

i believe that Brazil didn't play to their ultimate potential. Ghana had a great build up(even without Essien) but did not capitalize on their opportunities. What makes Brazil great is when they have chances they usually finish them. Ghana controlled the game yet Brazil still came out with a 3 goal victory. I wonder what the score would have been if Brazil was playing like we know it.

well evidently not, but i wish they would, lets take a look at the stats though, Ghana had WAY more posetion and WAY more shots and WAY more chances and overall Ghana WAY out-played Brazil! And what was with that ref?!!?!?!?! he was by far the worst ref ive ever seen, did you see the red card in the penalty area? that should have been a penalty shot for Ghana and a yellow card on Brazil, WHAT WAS THE REF THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!! AND there was what 6 yellows on Ghana and 2 on Brazil! GAH! if I were there I would give that ref a peice of my mind! Wait theres more! the second goal for Brazil OFFSIDE LIKE 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I don't think Ghana can play with Brazil. They're a good team, but aren't yet in the same league as Brazil. However, African teams are steadily progressing and I don't think it will be long before you see an upset over the might Brazilians.

Ghana can't beat Brazil because Brazil are the World Champs , so there is no chance for Ghana to beat Brazil, they can beat Brazil if today is their lucky day.
