i have had baby rats it took 14 to 16 days for their eyes to open up , i also found that if u handle the babies mom wont be as aggressive to u and the babies will be sweet ratties!.

Humm baby rabbits usually open their eyes in 10 to 12 day's, some longer if the litter was large. I'd bet that rats are simular. Maybe as long as 14 day's. If they don't open by then I would then consider taking them to your vet to make sure they are ok and nothing is wrong.

Hope this helps ya' some. I bet they are cuties. ( yeah yeah they are rats but still I have yet to see an Ugly baby animal except maybe for Opossums that is *shudder*)

Baby rats open their eyes any time from 2 weeks to a month old so don't be worried if they don't open within a couple days

Give them a loud scream. They will get scared and stare at you with trembling eyes for sure.
