Well to be able to see clearly is nice. Contacts suck. they are hard to put in and they irritate your eyes. Not to mention the infections that come from bacteria getting under the contacts no matter how often you change them. then there is the chance of scarring on your eye from the infections. that sucks too. Eye surgery is not a guarantee you will see better. Sometimes people who have had surgery on their eyes end up worse off than when they started. Glasses are a no brainer.

I wear glasses because I can't see without them. Why else would I wear these things?

I wear glasses to see. But you are right most people could wear contacts. I like my glasses, they look good on me. I guess thats why I haven't gotten contacts yet. Hmmmm, interesting question.

Because like me I cant see and I cant afford to get contacts. And they are a great eye protecter because when someone throws water on you it wont get in your eyes and dirt and sand wont be able to get in your eyes because of your glasses.

So they can see. Some people don't like wearing contacts because it irritates their eyes or they just don't like touching thier eyeballs.

it really doesnt make sense to me either...just wear contacts!!! though the answer may be because its just cheaper and easier to use glasses

BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE and i hate wearing my contacts all the time cause they make my eyes uncomfortable and dry.
