The word you want is celibacy. Asexuality means being able to reproduce without sex, like an amoeba. But, yes, celibacy does make sense when you haven't found a guy who is a real partner, and not just a sex partner. Many people just sleep around without thinking that they're just selling themselves cheap. I think you're wise to hold out for something better. It might take a while, though. There aren't many decent guys out there. But it's worth it; think of how stupid you'd feel about sleeping with a jerk.

Why are you doing it for him?!!! I have been accused of using men before; but not for $...I don't think I could ever go a-sexual.. :( Sex is what you make of it...& when you disconnect it from our 'mistaken' relationships; you'll learn that it can be an art- I've found that I don't really want to have 'loving' relationships w/ some of these guys; they get all weird and starry-eyed, think they're in love- and they're just(excuse the term, Ladies) Pussy-Whooped!
All-in-all; sex is great when its not resting on something-like whether he loves you or not. I've been in a few situations where I had wanted to say 'I Love You' during sex; That's Good Sex! But do it for you-we all have a little animal in us-you just have to find yours!! :)

you can't really "choose" asexuality unfortunately, you can choose not to date anymore or to resign yourself to a sexless life, but you're always going to have a sex drive hon, so just keep your head above water and don't let the idiots get the best of you. the best thing you can do is keep an open heart and mind and don't resign yourself yet;)

Absolutely not. There's plenty of guys out there that you can still have meaningless sex with even though you might consider them being unworthy!

Maybe you are looking for an excuse to experiment.
Know yourself and don't take that personal advice from others.

Asexuality is not a choice. If you can't find someone who is worthing then you are abstanet.
