I can't use my virus protection, play some of my games, activate active x. Don't have the virus protection cd anymore. Do I need to get rid of this computer for safty? The answers I get form microsoft do not fix the problems.

Well there are a number of things you can do in this situation. You can go to www.lavasoft.com and download their free ad-aware personal and run it. If that does not work there are other ways email me back if you need more ways and if all ells fails you can just reformat it and no get ride of it.

Download AVG free. If that doesnt work, you will have to boot in safe mode, find the virus & delete it
