Ask your dermatologist about Accutane, it's a pill you can take for only 6 mos at a time, but does dry your skin so you can't be in the sun all day.

this is a tough one. pimples are caused by different things and have different severeties, so it's sort of hard to give you an answer. if pimples are something that occur rarely for you, then a regular, mild face regime would work to clear up the acne you have and prevent future breakouts. washing you face every morning and night with a cleaner that has at least 3% benzoyl peroxide (i suggest neutrogena clear pore cleanser/mask) and exfoliating every other day (neutrogena visibly even foaming cleanser). if you have dry skin, follow that with an oil free moisturizer with spf 15. if pimples are common, but only mild in severity, then i would add st. ives hydroxy mask to that regimine and a toner that is alcohol free (dove toner works great). if your pimples are constant and very severe, you've got to go to the dermatologist. he might prescribe a prescription antibiotic to you and give you some other medications to clear up existing acne, prevent acne, and fade acne scars.

the latter is probably the best solution because pimples are caused by many different things. hormonal changes (girls, if you are a girl, generally get a pimple or two the week before thier periods), bacteria, stress, and poor lifestyle/dieting/exercise habits can be the cause of acne. it's up to a dermatologist to determine which cause you have and which way to treat if.

if you don't have the money for a doc and still have acne, use clean and clear continuous control acne cleanser (it's in a purple bottle). it's 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is prescription grade.

Well dear...so do most people in the world living with acne. But unlike the quick fix you wanted to hear it may depend on your body. What you eat, your skin type, even stress may show on your face as pimples.

First thing...Drink more water. The key to a healthy body and of course healthy skin is the right cleanser! Water flushes the body of impurities and toxins that may come out in your skin.

Second...wash- wash- wash- and wash some more! The cleaner your face is of dirts and oils that can clog your pores the less likely you are to get pimples. This doesn't mean you should use a rough or strong soap though...because that will damage the skin and lead to more pimples. Also remember that once your clean your face you should protect it with the right face cream.

Third...look at your diet. If it's bad for your body then it's bad for your skin. Too much of anything is a bad thing but when it starts out bad it comes out even worse. Sugars, salts, fats should all be taken in moderation. Eat pleanty of fruits and veggies.

Fourth...take a look at your life. Stress, worries, problems in your mental health can show up in your face. Even medical problems. If your a girl then you might have to live with an occasional pimple at your 'time of the month' like the rest of us. Remember to get enough rest and exercise in your life to let it show in your complexion.

****The best of us must cope with a pimple or two even if we do our best to prevent them...a fast cure for a little problem is TOOTH PASTE!! yep you heard me. Tooth paste. Just dab some tooth paste on your pimple when you go to bed and in the morning...the volcano is only a mole hill. It dries it out and also sooths red and inflamed skin too.

Good luck!
