Why is liberalism so bad? Why is conservatism so bad?

People like to point the finger and say "their bad" is'nt this America, why are they so bad?

There's nothing particularly "bad" about either one, it's just that some individuals see things more in "black" or "white" than others, which would put them on one end of the spectrum or the other as far as politics. The irony of the matter though is the answer to a lot of issues that "conservatives" and "liberals" often fight over is often in the middle of all this clamoring. In the end, this is part of what makes America great...the fact that you CAN have any opinion you want about anything, regardless of which side of the political spectrum you are on. There are many other nations around the world that having an opinion outside of the majority or what is in the government's interest isn't even a remote thought in the minds of the people. I'm thankful to be here whether I agree with everyone about everything or not.

Liberalism and Conservatism are so bad because they are merely two sides of the same socialist coin. None of those in government today have the least regard for the oath of office they swear- notably "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic" (with the exception of Ron Paul R- Texas, who does care and has actually read it). If we as a nation will allow our "leaders" to use our supreme law of the land as so much toilet paper, then we as a nation ARE evil- allowing the corruption to continue unabated without even token protest makes every adult in this once great land an accomplice to the evils commited.

Neither liberlism nor conservatism within the frame of our consituion is bad. It is the form covservatism being practice by this administration that is bad, thus the name neocons. Do you even realize that in America today we do not have a free press, We have Coporate America telling us only bits and pieces. We have had major crimes to occur thru the Regan/Bush, Bush Sr, Clinton and Bush Jr's administration that have had no real investigative jourlism to occur. Dan Rather was not fired from CBS for telling a lie, what he said was true, the documents he use were fraudulant. Put GWBush under oath and let him tell us he was in Alabama or more specifically Just what days did he show up and where is the documentation to prove to the American public he was present. He Can't do it. Why did not the media make him prove to the public he was there?

If you are a real conservative such as a constitutional conservative, even you will not recognize George W Bush's conservatism. People say he is incompetent but I say he has accomplished all he set out to do. I found this in an article on st911.org. I take no credit for the following, the author who wrote this knew well of what he was talking about. I thank him for he stated it better than I ever could. He listed GWBush's accomplishments as follows;

Stole not one but two national elections, also stole the 2002 votes through out the nation solidifying his parties grip on the congress
These are not signs of incompetence they are all what the necons and the conservatives want.

What this writer failed to acknowledge is this is treason. George W.Bush and all that he has given a office too, all whom he has given a seat on the judiciary, all new departments he created, all generals who failed to uphold their oaths to the consitution, all these people have committed acts of treason against the citizens of the United States of America. All need to be indicted, handcuff and haul out of there offices to stand trial for the charges of treason. Because that is what they are guilty of, and it has progessed along slowing but it forgot one thing. The Constitution declares itself the supreme power of the land, any law that is in violation of it is null and void, not withstanding. George W.Bush and company have placed a lot of laws on the books, but all their laws are null and void, not withstanding, because all his laws are in contraindition of the Constitution of the United States of America. Do you realize more jouralist have died in Iraq than any other war? Do you think we have a free press?

Neither by definition is bad.

But when you have far-left Liberals with their beliefs such as abortion, betraying their country in a time of war, not protecting kids against child rapists, always trying to be politically correct, making victims out of minorities just to get a vote, and wanting to spend billions on global warming because they think it is a higher threat than a terrorist wanting to kill you because you are American.... then you know there is a problem.

its like this, one side sucks, the other blows, and most ppl dont realize you dont have to agree with either side all the time. there should be a nice middle party, the SANE party.

-see, theres already ppl drawing lines here to explain why the other side is bad. they dont get that they're doing the exact same thing as their opposition. and if anyone disagrees with them, they're "wrong". both sides have their points, and both sides have their flaws.

conservatives (especially the ones in the current political climate) are the one that still believe that we're at war for some higher purpose, even though lots of the members of bush's cabinet have come out and said that what we believed was a lie. and they're always citing that we're doing what god wants. well, my idea was that god didnt want us killing people. i think that a rule of his.... something about 10 commandments, right? and wheres that law that says to be american you have to believe in jesus? if i dont want to believe in your god, you cant do anything about it, how about we go to war based on the beliefs or another religion? maybe a native american one? i bet they're gods would want us to punish the white men that destroyed the lives and cultures of those who were here BEFORE the white man. well, there'd be rednecks with shotguns on every street corner, but when we dont want to go along with their points, we're "siding with the terrorists". sorry, i forgot that as an american, i dont have the right to disagree with you.

and the current liberals are just too worried about keeping everyone happy. there are some ppl out there that cant be pleased, and you cant make everyone happy, so draw a line somewhere, and stop being pansies. and stop trying to rehab everyone. some criminals just belong in jail FOREVER, sorry, no second chances. and if you're a rapist, or serial killer, you should be put to death.

so, as i stated before, its 2 sides of the same coin, doing exactly the same thing. its like tasting your 2 least favorite foods, do you want to taste crap pile #1, or crap pile #2? well... no thanks, i'll cook for myself.

Conservatives worship money,-. It is their god and they will do anything to get more of god. Just look at bush, rumsfeld et al. They have taken a country to war resulting in numerous dead soldiers to that they can line their pockets. And to justify it they lie, and the conservative masses do not have the intelligence to see it. I am not a liberal, I don't agree with abortion or any of the other 'sins' attributed to them

Both words are examples of smear tactics, usually employed by the worst kind of people. They don't have anything constructive to say, so they apply a label. Since most voters don't understand politics, this kind of abuse can be very effective. Now that you know the difference, you can spot the real bad guys.

Extreme anything is bad. My motto is: moderation in all things including moderation. The left is taking care of it's wealthy contributors and the very poor and the right is taking care of it's wealthy contributors and business. That leaves most of us in the middle without anyone looking out for our best interests.

I think that the names get labled as bad because extremists on both sides feel almost threatened by the ideas and ideals of the other so they attempt to demonize one another.

i'm neither, but when it's extremem liberalism or conservatism, it's bad because it makes you blind to other people's opinions.
