I would probably ask:
1) Things about their personal life...a family, pets etc
2) What inspired them to work in the field
3) Advantages of the job
4) Disadvantages of the job
5) People they've met
6) Any VIP treatment along the way?
7) Future plans for themselves and the magazine
and on and on
Glad to share

Why do they put how to lose weight, you know the "new miracle diet" right beside the directions to make the great big 7000 calorie desert? and why in one issue do they tell you one thing and the next issue they tell you something opposite. Example one magazine says to apply foundation with finger, next issue they say that is terrible, apply with a sponge, or whatever!!!!!!!

I would ask Graydon Carter, EIC of Vanity Fair, about the recent decision to put more skin on the cover. I'll also ask about some of the articles recently featured.
