Super Bowl V in January 1971 (following the 1970 season). MVP was Chuck Howley, linebacker for the Cowboys who lost to the Colts 16-13 in the first Super Bowl played after the NFL and AFL merger. The Colts, along with the Steelers and Browns, had just started playing in the AFC with the 10 teams from the AFL.
Due to the number of turnovers between the two teams, Super Bowl V has always been dubbed the "Stupor Bowl."

I don't think so.
I am not very familiarized with american football, but in most sports the MVP is only awarded to those people who were so important that they could lead their team to the victory. Therefore, it is rather improbable to happen.
