How long before some sick person decides to try out the things that were done in these movies?
I liked the movies, scared me to death... but why give the killers more ideas than what they already have?

I LIKED SAW AND SAW 2.
CAN'T WAIT TILL HALLOWEEN 2 SEE SAW 3 BUT I COULD NEVER EVER WATCH HOSTEL.
JUST WATCHING THE TRAILER MAKES ME SICK.
BUT SINCE HOSTEL IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY I GUESS THE MOVIE HASN'T REALLY GIVEN ANYONE ANY NEW IDEAS.

actually these might turn the ideas off for a killer... because it's been done before and he would then be a copy cat. But killers are already psycho... it's not going to stop them from killing if the idea is already there. It will only give them more creative ways... and Saw... the guy never killed anyone. He was trying to help them see what they were doing wrong... just in an extreme way. They killed themselves and eachother, by sinning... Like in Seven Deadly Sins... aka Seven.
If you watch tv at all, you get all kinds of ideas... the good, the bad, and the ugly. And some of the crimes have been done already... just in less extreme forms.

I thought the same thing, kind of. I didnt seen saw, but saw2 and hostle... I know the idea of hostle was from true story or whatever kind of, but what kind of sane person thinks of the discusting things they do to people in those movies, or in hostle, wants to repeat those horrible things.

Oh no, there are sicker ppl out there. Maybe you are right though, just like us giving terrorists or criminals more ideas with some of the shows on TV sometimes.

I haven't watched any of these the commericals alone are too grusome. Why would I want those nasty images in my head.
