I use to be a believer in God until I met my fiance "Bob". Now I curse frequently, smoke cigatettes, and do not ask for forgivness.

Sometimes when you meet new people you use their views to open your mind! I met a very religious man once who said that you should live your life in a way that no matter what you reliefs were if you found out you were wrong, you wouldn't change a thing!
Do that! Do what is right! Treat others with restpect, live with an open mind, be tolerant and patient with everyone, and don't look back! I don't believe that 'GOD' as Christians think of 'him' exists, but I also live a very moral life and am honest, respectful and open minded! Go your own way, even if you are in a relationship!

Why think of the past & become sickly nostalgic?
What's so sensational about the past? It is more a rut than a sensation.
We are all born the moment we fall head over heels in love & that love is equally reciprocrated.
The past is History. The present is fleeting. Let's Look forward to the vast future & make life a multi-colored dream. Oh, the Possibilities of bliss!
Who wants to be their old self? All want to discover the new 'YOU' in YOU'! Is that not a great adventure & Challenge with a sprinkling of risk? What else, we can ask for in life?

The bible says when we are yoked to an unbeliever than we should stay and our own goodness will change that person. You shouldn't curse just because it is unlady like and makes you sound uneducated. I smoke, God doesn't care. I hope the two of you can have a happy life together. Sorry I don't remember where in the bible it says what I just pointed out to you.

What you have to look forward to is a life with Bob, and dying from Cancer of the lungs, and an ugly wrinkled face from the cigarettes. Will Bob still love you then?
Don't do things you need to be forgiven for, cursing is something I enjoy occasionally. It is not a sin. You can always dump Bob for an Angel, and live happily ever after and be bored to death.

Life with Bob is just a fleeting moment in time if you think of time as eternally. Life with God can be forever. Taking up bad habits will probably lead to more bad habits. Do you want Bob now or God forever?

Let Bob be Bod and U be U. U can still be the same person that u once were. C if he likes doing some of the things that U like doing, afterall a relationship is SUPPOSED to be 50/50.

How come you cant have both GOD and Bob .All you have to do is stop cursing and give your life to christ and repent and ask for forgiveness and if Bob sees you changing maybe it will lead his life to CHRIST as well .Best Wishes and GOD Bless

I am soon going to do exactly that. When my fiance' graduates from UMR (shout-out to home girl!), we will be going somewhere else--don't even know where yet--and my life will revolve around his career, probably. I have been a Missouri girl all my life, with brief worldwide excursions for the military, and it will be strange to move and start somewhere else with him. But most of my friends and family have moved on from here already. I'm ready for the change.

What you need to do is find out where this man's heart is. If his heart is in the sewer..... then don't go there. I suggest that you step back quickly and study what kind of man he is. Asking for forgiveness is evidence that a person loves another person. It is possible that you don't love this man, but are either sexually attracted to him, or extremely lonely. I suggest that you deal with your loneliness without falling into a trap. If you used to believe in God..... and no longer do..... be careful...... Evidently, you are worried about your relationship with this man. That means something is wrong. The Bible says, "Love hath no fear." You are probably headed into a trap..... are worried about it....., but too disappointed to say good-bye to this man. The Bible also says, "Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life." I suggest that you protect yourself...... your life is of utmost importance here. If you want to help him, be his friend..... but do not be his lover or marry a man who has you worried.

oh sweetheart the fun part of life is usually the stuff that is not good for you you know in your heart what is right for you is the life you want to live for the rest of your life i am sure GOD has a better plan for you you should never let a person shake your faith in the I AM the devil is a liar GOD has not given you this man this is your pick you must step back or get him to step up take him to church with you tell him of your life before if he desires you he will do right by you if not just know He has a better road laid out for you it is your choice I just hope you get on it.
