im in high school, and i kno tons of people that use their cell phones to call the teachers phone. let me tell you, it can be quite hilarious, especially when u have a teacher who thinks that when the phone rings its like htis big exciting deal. lol. i had a friend who actually called from the bathroom and told a substitute teacher that she was needed in the office. she ran to the office, leaving the students alone in class. i heard that was a funni one, but after she came back, everyones cells were searched for the classroom's number.

My experience as a teacher, I have noticed the "eraser" fascination with boys. A lot of the schools in my area have a program where the teacher gets a yearly allowance for supplies and she buys pencils, markers, pens, etc. for the whole year b/c many of the families can not afford them. To save money, teachers would buy those big pink erasers so that pencils could still be used long after the eraser was worn out or had fallen off. These giant erasers bounce GREAT off the tile floors that most classrooms have....and I've been hit by quiet a few. Also, the boys like to sharpen their pencils and flick them into the ceiling tiles.
In high schools...kids are always using their cell phones. A lof of schools have banned them. It's the high tech way of passing notes and it's A LOT harder to get caught.

Thanks for the fun question!

the good old classics still work, and little boys still love to chase little girls to try to put bugs in their hair. Never had spit wads in my room, but kids did pick erasers to pieces and flick them across the room - ok, boys did that, girls just liked to pass notes. Of course the topics are typical...."Are you Susie's friend? circle Yes or No"
